Oi queridas,

Hoje é o dia que os hosts ficaram de me dar a resposta. Estava confiante em relação a eles. Entretanto, ontem à noite, tomei uma atitude que eu sei q foi a coisa certa, mas q pode comprometer a decisão deles. Contudo, n podia deixar de fazer isso pq tava me fazendo mto mal. A depender da resposta da family eu posto aqui o q foi.

Vou trabalhar a maioria das semanas de seg a quinta, sendo que, algumas vezes ela pode precisar de mim no sab de manhã ou qq outro dia p ficar até mais tarde e fazer babysitting, mas a maioria dos FDS e sextas off. (Sexta off? êeee coisa ruim, né) huahahauahuaua Nunca, nem na melhor das hipóteses, eu pensei q conseguria um schedule assim. Então, tah td bem fazer babysitting e trabalhar sábado de manhã. No mais, as minhas funções como au pair mesmo... laundry, alimentar Savannah, dar banho, enfim essas coisas ...

Gente, n sei se posso postar a ft dela aqui... mas ela é realmente fofíssima. A host disse q ela come de tudo, tira nap 2 vezes ao dia e fica chateada qndo ninguém entende o que ela quer ou quando sua vontade n é satisfeita. (quem n fica!) huahauhauhau Parece mto com Dandara, minha sobrinha. A host disse tb que ela é mto carinhosa e sorridente. rsrrsrsrrs Um amor...

Disse que eles n dão trabalho e que meu quarto fica longe e eles nunca vão lá. Conversando com uma amiga sobre meu medo e tal, ela me lembrou de alguns episódios de quando ela tinha gatos em Ksa. Eu até dormi na ksa dela e td com os gatos lá e n tive nenhum problema. Engraçado q se ela n me falasse eu nem lembraria pq isso foi há uns 4 anos atrás +/-. E olha q o gato dela é Persa (é assim q se escreve?) Pois bem, o fato e que, por ter gostado tanto da família, o assunto gatos está completamente ultrapassado.

Havard fica há uns 38 min... a atual au pair disse q o curso custa cerca de $800 mas que vale a pena e tb tem outras opções mais baratas. Bom... tenho q rever prioridades.

Dividirei o carro com host, mas a atual au pair me falou q isso é sussa. Pq a host só dirige p ir p o trab ou algo assim e que no fds ela (au pair) fica com o carro inclusive p dormir fora.

As que o host me falou, são coisas básicas e já esperadas. Por exemplo:

Fiquei com preguiça de escrever em português. Então copiei do email q o host me mandou. rsrsrsrs Eu achei razoável e previsível, nada de mais seguir essas regras. Eu tb pediria isso p minha au pair.  

Which is the rule about receive and make phone calls in your house? 

You'll have a cell phone (provided by us) to use on your free time - no international calls or texting - you may also use the home phone for local calls but no international calls - if there are texts made, we would ask that you reimburse us since that's not part of our calling plan ... of course, you can use calling cards to make calls internationally (which is what Liana does) 

 

Can I receive some visit in your house?

Yes, of course, you can have friends over - we would want you to introduce us to anyone who is new in our house - As we become more comfortable with each other and your friends, we are also okay with friends staying overnight.  We are not comfortable with anyone (other than you) staying in the house while we are away- 

 

Can I study when Savannah is sleeping during the day and when I have no duties to do?

Yes, you can study and read of course!  Please know though that that would only be if there's down time - nothing else to do for Savannah ... We would not be comfortable with personal phone, computer use or tv watching during this time.

 

Is a state driver's license required? How is it work?

I don't believe it is necessary - if it is, we'd be happy to take you wherever you need to get one.  You may also want to get a social security card but I don't think it's neccessary either.

 

I suppose I'll have to pay for the gas when I use the car, so how is it going to work?

Yes, since you'll be using the car for your own use, you would be responsible for paying for gas - so, when you're out or done with the car, you would bring it back to the house filled to where it started out ... if for any reason, there's no gas when you start out (which happens sometimes) I will give you the money back or you don't have to fill it back up when you return it .... basically, we look for curtesy - do the right thing, you know?

 

Will I have to pay for the car's insurance?

No.  We will take care of that.

 

Will I be responsible for any household duties? If so, which ones?

There isn't anything specific that you need to do for the house but because we are all using the kitchen and so forth, we ask that you do things as you see them - if there are dirty dishes then wash or put in the dishwasher, just like we would.  or the garbage, if it's full, then take it out like we would .... does that make sense?  

 

 

Will I have a private bathroom?

Yes.... 

 

Will I be paid per week or month?

You're paid once a week at the end .... although, I move very quickly, so I sometimes forget - if that happens, please let me know - of course, I will always try to be on time!
